Meet The Ponies! latest update 10-20-07

Kari is a 2001 Haflinger Pony joining our family in hopes of becoming a mount for our special needs clients.  She is cute and as sweet as they come.  She joined our family August 16, 2007. Here is Oli on her waiting for the farrier to arrive the day after she joined our family.

Here she is after the first ride :o)  She definitely needs some work and will make a wonderful winter project here.  Such a sweety though!

Meet Lacey!  She is a 1995 registered POA mare that I acquired just by chance.  Now this girl has some training behind her.  She will definitely be as asset to our riding program..  She kinda dances when sitting still but once someone is on her back what a girl! She too is a real sweet pony and has been shown and in her past been in the Top 10 in Showmanship, English Pleasure and Equitation at the Wisconsin 4h Expo.  Our kids in the barn all love riding this one!  Emma got to try her out first!  Here they are ... Sept. 07.

And then there is Rosita!  She joined us when we went to pick up a friends horse whom is staying with us.  She was for sale and when seeing how bonded these 2 were Richard (yes Richard) wanted her.  So she came to live with us too.  She is a 2000 grade shetland mare that rides and drives.  What a beauty she is!

I'm sure I'll get more pictures when time allows.

I consider myself very lucky to now own this guy.  He was staying with us here and I worked out a "deal" to be able to acquire him. He is a big time confidence builder and the best lesson horse we have for our beginners.  Very nice nice boy.  Look for pictures soon of him driving as we will be picking up his custom made harness from the Amish soon.  We [picked up the cart now just have to get his harness and away we will go (hopefully).
