Ultima Playboy was the result of many months searching for that "Just Right" stallion to compliment my breeding program. I had never owned a stallion before (other than young colts).  I was still boarding my mares at the time and breeding fees were getting quite expensive. So a couple good friends of mine and I looked and looked weekend after weekend month after month until we came to a small breeder in Edgerton.  They were going to help me with this venture in the breeding stallion world.  Both were experienced stallion handlers.  Heck when I walked in that barn I knew he was the one!  This big handsome 18 month old colt was brought out of a stall my his owners Jim and Marilyn Matisyk.  Oh man what a beauty!  I am big on beauty so my friends had to get me past that and they looked at him in every other way.  I myself knew I was going to bring this horse home.  I didn't think either one of them would be able to talk me out of this one!  They didn't and I brought this handsome boy home.  As the years went by this boy made one heck of a name for himself and the FourB Farm all in big part Thanks to Patricia Johnson of Iron Horse Ranch in Portage, WI.  Patty took him to numerous shows getting many many big wins.  Patty did a SUPER job handling him and he loved her as much as she loved him.  Then the middle of July 2006 they noticed some face swelling.  Being the king he was at Iron Horse Ranch the vet was called out right away.  Thinking he had some type of sllergy he was treated accordingly.  Got a bit better it came back treated with numerous medications it would get a bit better then come back.  Then on August 7th, 2006 he took a turn for the worse he swelled up really bad and started having difficulty breathing.  The vet was summoned again.  We made the decision he needed to be seen by specialists so we rushed him to the UW Vet Hospital.  That night Playboy had to receive a tracheotomy to help him breathe.  The next week he under went many tests and received many medications and no one could find out what was going on with this horse.  We summoned a big meeting of all the minds and it was determined this horse only had a 10% chance of survival.  He would most likely never be able to live without the trache.  His quality of life was dwindled down to not much if any chance.  So the heart breaking decision was made to put him to rest.  An autopsy is in the making and if I ever find out what this growth was in his head that kept swelling and took the life of my horse ever is I will let you all know.  For now...

You were taken from us all way too young.  Your children will live on in your legacy.  We will miss you just horribly.  Rest in Peace Ultima Playboy we all loved you dearly!

Read below all the accomplishments this gorgeous smart horse had is his short lifespan....

Here he is as a baby Thank you Shady Bell Acres For the Photo

Here he is when we brought him home.  Thank you Kim Allhands for the photo.

Jim and Marilyn brought that big boy to the stable where I boarded for me.  I'm a firm believer in doing things the right way so Playboy was with us for a short time and then I asked one of my veterinarians who he would recommend for a good trainer for this horse to be trained, shown and promoted.  He recommended Patty Johnson of Iron Horse Ranch.  I called Patty and she agreed to take him on and the rest is History.  Patty and her staff have made Playboy into the fine show horse he is today.  I am still learning the ropes of the "Big Time" show horse world and the ownership of a breeding stallion.  Doing things the "right way" is starting to pay off too.  Playboy is making quite the name for himself out there.  He has received many accomplishments.  To Date:
