On a nice calm day you never know what you'll encounter at the FourB.  On July 25th, 2004 a hot air balloon took off from the Town Hall adjacent to our property.  What a beautiful site!  We got pictures of the whole thing!   And with the sun going down to boot.

Here's the Story......

Yes, We did It.  We bought a new Farm.  It wasn't much to look at first.  But, it has sure changed after we completely gutted it out and basically rebuilt it.  Anyway it is 28 acres of beautiful land and now has an awesome horse facility built on it.  After many months and lots of contractors.  We constructed a 15 stall barn and a 60 x 144 indoor arena and a 60x90 storage building. We had the inside of the farm house completely gutted and remodeled and then we moved over here in September of 2002.  It took us awhile to get used to everything but, we sure love it now.

Here are some photos of the house and old buildings on December 31, 2001 just days before we bought it.

This is what the buildings looked like after all of the brush was taken down.

Here is what it looked like right after the silo and buildings came down.

We moved the gang over May 26, 2002 And the rest is History!

This whole site started out being based on our love for animals. And has blossomed from there into being our Horse breeding operations site.

I had a horse as a teenager and firmly believe he was what kept me out of trouble. I did not have time to go "cruisin", drinkin' or smoke dope.  I was busy taking care of my horse.  I learned that having such of a beautiful animal in my sole care was a huge responsibility.  I didn't have time to screw off.  I was busy taking care of my horse.  It took this stuff called hard earned money to keep that horse in great shape.  I loved that horse and did everything I could to keep him happy and healthy.  He gave me many years of happiness.  He gave me that private shoulder to cry on when things got rough.  He was always there to listen when I had a secret I was just dying to spill.  He saw me thru tough times and good times.

In 1984 I married Richard and in 1985 I gave birth to Jenni.  In 1987 our Son Chris was born {We found out a few years later that Chris has Autism}.  My top priority is and always will be my family.  We were a struggling young couple trying to make ends meet and were trying to understand that scary word autism.  I am a firm believer that if you don't take care of something properly you should not have it.  So sadly my horse was sold along with some sheep and goats I had at the time.

Anyway, this website was not set up to be a soapy sad story.  As Jenni was growing up so was her interest in horses.  We were now dealing with that scary autism word finding out it wasn't as scary as we thought.  I was so happy that Jenni had the horse interest.  We let her have riding lessons at first.  Our financial situation became stable and I talked it over with Richard and we decide to buy a horse.  I called a local stable and talked with the barn manager/trainer and yes they had a stall available.  So the search was on.  We looked in the newspaper and off we went with some friends and a trailer looking at horses. We set out on that wonderfully long trip super bowl Sunday 1996.

That is when I became a horse owner again. Silver Dee Candy came home with us and the rest is history.  Be sure and check out all the places to the left and don't forget to sign my   guest book when your thru.  Thanks so much for stopping in!

I am now a proud member or have a horse registered in the following associations:

AQHA,      PHBA, IBHA, NFQHR, FQHR, FQHA,  APHA  and WBHA.

It is my wishes to dedicate this web site to my parents. Whom if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have any of this.  My Dad was the primary one by encouraging me to have LOVE and take care of a horse {He sadly passed away in 1993}. And my Mother whom allowed me to purchase the family business T-DURST Bus Service and all the support and encouragement she has given me with all the experiences life has to offer.  And also I would like to thank Mike and  Sandy Janke  (The owners of ULTIMA LOOK) for all of your help in finding so much of the neat stuff.   A big THANK YOU to all!
