Teri B's Sunday Breeze

FLASH!

Breezy's 2nd litter has arrived!

On January 30, 2008 Breezy gave birth to 10 puppies.  One little girl was born with quite a large hole in her tummy and passed away and 1 boy was still born the other 8 are doing fantastic!  4 boys and 4 girls.  Here they are the day they were born.

Here they are on February 5, 2008 the day after having there tails docked and dew claws removed.

Here we are after our first meal of mush,  It is made up of Purina One puppy chow soaked soft, Esbilac formula baby rice cereal and a bit of soft dog food mixed with hot water.  Man is that some good stuff.  Just look at there satifaction and Mom was very happy to clean them up!

Here are a couple at 7 1/2 weeks and ready for there new homes

Breezy's 1st litter born February 17, 2006.

Finally after an over 10 year span we were finally expecting puppies.  Rocky finally became mature enough and well with Breezy living with them...  It finally happened!  We were expecting puppies on February 14, 2006!  Well, now this is a female that was living outside in the Wisconsin winter!  So luckily we saw the interest and I wrote it down on my calendar.  So I took her to the vet just to double check but in looking at this girl I knew she was pregnant.  Yup the vet x-ray confirmed it!  Puppies!  He couldn't tell me how many but she was definitely pregnant!   So Miss Breeze was all groomed up and came to live in the house!  Can we say she made herself right at home?

And on February 17, 2006 Breezy gave birth to 9 Gorgeous puppies!  7 girls and 2 boys!  First pup was born at 5:25 am and the last pup was born at 9:20 am.  They ranged in weight from the first pup born a huge boy at 12.4 oz to a little girl at 7.6 oz.  They are all doing great and Mama is doing a wonderful job taking care of them.  I just wish I could say the same about the house training part.  I'm confident it will come.  After all we now have Hmm gotta think here.  Right now we have 13 dogs in the house.  Also the 4 cats and 1 bird too!   The FourB menagerie!  Here is the first photo of new Mama and babies....

Here they are 2 days old all have gained at least 2 oz since birth.   Breezy is being such a good MaMa!

We're getting the hang of this now.  We're 23 days old here.  This stuff tastes pretty good!  Our food is now a combination of baby rice cereal, Purina One puppy chow softened, puppy baby formula and warm water.

Here we are when we swamped Mom and one little girl posing so nice.  We're 4 weeks old here.  We have teeth and our twice a day feedings consist of Purina One for Large breed puppies softened with warm water with formula added and some soft alpo dog food no more mashing.  We also have Dry Purina One puppy chow in our pen at all times now and were drinking water too!
